300 kg Platform Scale

What it is for

A 300 kg Platform Scale is an industrial weighing scale with a low, flat platform and a separate weight indicator, rated 300 kg for loads that a bench or parcel scale cannot take. You place the sack, drum or crate on the platform and read the weight on the indicator.

It is the middle capacity in the range: the step up from the 150 kg model when full sacks of rice or flour, drums and loaded crates come through goods-in every day, and the step below the 600 kg model, which is built for half pallets and loaded roll cages.

• Goods-in checks against the supplier's delivery note, so short deliveries are caught before they are signed for.
• Sacks, drums, crates and cartons up to 300 kg, one load at a time.
• Counting by weight and despatch weights for the carrier booking.
• Returns and damaged goods, weighed before the claim goes back to the supplier.

A postal or parcel scale stops at 30 kg to 50 kg and has a small plastic top. A 300 kg floor scale of this type has a steel platform on load cells, so full sacks and drums are weighed whole instead of in parts.

Platform size, display division, indicator functions, power supply, protection rating and the warranty period are confirmed in writing with your quote before you pay a deposit, so you have the full specification for your records. Wear items are excluded from the warranty; see warranty and returns.

How to order

Made to order at our factory partners and delivered to your door by pallet carrier. Typical lead time 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation. Deposit 30% on order, balance before despatch.

1. Send the product code LPT-PS300, the quantity, your business name and your delivery postcode on WhatsApp or by email to [email protected]. You get a trade price ex VAT, the delivery charge and the lead time in writing.
2. Confirm the order and pay the 30% deposit. Production starts against your order. Orders are not cancellable once in production.
3. Pay the balance before despatch. Sea freight is standard; air freight is quoted on request.
4. Delivery is kerbside by tail-lift to UK mainland addresses. London and the M25 are delivered by us where possible. Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland are quoted on request. Full details on the delivery page.

Minimum order applies. Mix models in the range to reach it. Any mix of scales counts, so 150 kg, 300 kg and 600 kg platform scales and the 2000 kg pallet scale on one order count together. • 150 kg Platform Scale: the smaller model for parcels, cartons and single sacks at a packing bench or goods-in desk.
