What a trade account gives you
A trade account for pallet trucks, trolleys and roll cages is optional. No account is needed to order. Every business buys at the same prices ex VAT, quoted by email. A trade account adds the things a regular buyer wants.

Who it is for
Cash and carries, wholesalers, independent retailers, food distributors and warehouses. We sell to business customers only and do not sell to the public.
Trade credit accounts are open to UK limited companies and LLPs, subject to checks. Sole traders and partnerships are welcome as trade customers and buy on the same terms as every other business: payment by bank transfer, as set out on your quote.
Sales only. We do not hire. We do not sell used equipment. We are not a cash and carry.
How to apply
Complete the short form on this page or send the same details by email. The form asks for eight things:
- Business name, as registered.
- Company number, from Companies House. Sole traders and partnerships can leave this blank.
- Contact name, the person who will place orders.
- Phone, ideally a direct line.
- Email, for quotes, order confirmations and invoices.
- Delivery postcode, so we can confirm the delivery charge with your first quote.
- What you buy: pallet trucks, trolleys and roll cages, or a mix.
- Monthly volume, a rough figure is fine.
We check the company at Companies House and, where credit is requested, run a credit-reference search. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and why. We reply by email at sales@londonpallettrucks.co.uk with the outcome and, where credit is agreed, the credit limit and payment terms in writing.
How ordering works, with or without an account
Every order is placed with our factory partners against your confirmed order. Nothing is held in the UK ahead of an order, so every order follows the same three steps.
- Quote by email. Send the product code, the quantity, your business name and your delivery postcode. We reply with a price ex VAT, freight and duty, the delivery charge and the lead time.
- Confirm and pay. Everything is confirmed in writing first, and you pay as set out on your written quote. Orders are not cancellable once in production.
- Production and shipping. Built to order, shipped by sea freight as standard and delivered to your UK site.

No. Opening a trade account is free and there is no spend commitment. Order one unit or a full fleet, on account or not; your written quote confirms the price for your quantity.
What information do you need to open an account?
Eight things: business name, company number, contact name, phone, email, delivery postcode, what you buy and a rough monthly volume. The form on this page collects them, or send the same details by email. Where credit is requested we also run a credit-reference search, explained in our privacy notice, and confirm the limit and terms in writing.
Does a trade account change the lead time?
No. Everything is made to order at our factory partners, with the lead time confirmed on your written quote whether or not you have an account. Credit terms, where agreed, are stated on your order confirmation.
Can a sole trader open a trade account?
Sole traders and partnerships are welcome as trade customers and buy at the same prices ex VAT, with payment terms confirmed on your written quote. Trade credit itself is limited to UK limited companies and LLPs, subject to checks, because the credit-reference search is run on the registered company. We sell to business customers only, so every order carries a business name.
