Each castor consists of three parts: the wheel body, the bracket, and the rotating shaft. The bracket connects to the bottom frame of the shopping cart, the rotating shaft enables 360° rotation, and the wheel body is in direct contact with the ground. They are mostly made of polyurethane (PU) or rubber. PU wheels offer excellent quiet performance and high wear resistance, making them suitable for smooth indoor floors; rubber wheels have better grip, can adapt to slightly rough surfaces, and can be equipped with a braking device.

The basket is mainly made of cold-rolled steel wire and plastic. Plastic baskets are mostly made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), formed by one-piece injection molding. They are lightweight and non-angular, making them suitable for holding fresh produce and fragile items. The wire baskets have evenly spaced grids, which can prevent small items from falling while reducing the overall weight. The inner walls of plastic baskets are mostly frosted to increase friction and prevent goods from sliding and colliding.
