A pallet stacker, also called a stacker truck or electric stacker, lifts pallets into racking without the size, weight or cost of a forklift. Choose walkie stackers you walk behind, stand-on stackers for longer runs, straddle stackers for closed and wide pallets, counterbalance stackers with no front legs, and reach stackers for narrow aisles. Most models lift 1 t to 2 t into racking up to about 4.5 m. Every stacker is new, made to order and priced per unit ex VAT for business customers.

Questions about electric pallet stackers

Pallet stacker or forklift: which do I need?

A stacker is enough for loads up to about 2 t, racking to about 4.5 m and level indoor floors. Choose a forklift for heavier loads, yard work or loading lorries.

What is a straddle stacker?

A stacker whose legs sit outside the pallet, so it can lift closed-base and wide pallets that a standard walkie stacker cannot.

Walkie or stand-on stacker?

Walkie for short runs and tight spaces. Stand-on for longer distances and more lifts per shift.

Does a pallet stacker need a LOLER examination?

Yes. A stacker is lifting equipment, so it needs a thorough examination at least every 12 months, and operators need training under PUWER.
