A mobile yard ramp lets a forklift drive from ground level straight into a lorry or shipping container, so you can load and unload where there is no raised bay. Our steel ramps are rated 6 t to 15 t, sit on wheels so they can be moved round the yard, and most set their height with a hand hydraulic pump, so no power supply is needed. Tell us your heaviest forklift plus load and the bed heights you work with, and we specify the ramp on a written quote. Every ramp is new, made to order and priced per unit ex VAT.

What capacity yard ramp do I need?
Add the forklift's own weight to its heaviest load. A 10 t ramp covers most 2.5 t to 3 t forklifts carrying a full pallet.
Can a yard ramp load shipping containers?
Yes. Mobile ramps are used to load and unload 20 ft and 40 ft containers from ground level.
How long is a mobile yard ramp?
Our 10 t ramp is 11.2 m long overall. Where a model lists its length, width and lip sizes they are in its specifications, and your written quote confirms them.
Yard ramp or dock leveller?
A yard ramp works from ground level and moves around the yard. A dock leveller is fixed into a raised loading bay.
