A pair of closed base fork extension sleeves, 1830 mm (72 inch) long, that slide over your forks to carry long, light loads. Made for forks 122 to 125 mm wide, up to 50 mm thick and at least 1220 mm long, as fitted to many 2.5 t to 3.5 t counterbalance and rough terrain forklifts, diesel, LPG or electric. An extension must never be longer than one and a half times the fork it sits on. High strength structural steel, painted black, one sleeve per fork. Extensions reduce the safe load because the load centre moves out: check the truck's capacity plate for the new load centre, spread the load over the full length and do not lift on the tips. Send your fork sizes, or a photo of the stamp on the side of a fork, with your quote request: our written quote states the rated capacity of the pair at its load centre, the inside size and how the sleeves lock to the fork heel.
