700 new products: supermarket trolleys, roll cages and shelving, factory-direct
London Pallet Trucks has added a second factory partner and seven retail ranges to the shop: supermarket shopping trolleys in European, American, Asian and plastic styles, children's trolleys, shopping baskets, roll cages, warehouse and platform trolleys, wire shelving and warehouse step ladders. Everything is made to order and priced in GBP ex VAT, with trolleys from £11 and roll cages from £24 at container quantities.
What has been added
Until this month the shop covered material handling only: hand and electric pallet trucks, stackers, forklifts, access platforms, floor cleaning machines and loading ramps. The new ranges cover the shop floor and the back of store:
- Shopping trolleys: 412 models across European, American, Asian, plastic, double-basket and basket-trolley styles.
- Children's shopping trolleys: mini wire trolleys, toy-car trolleys and trolleys with a child seat.
- Shopping baskets: plastic and wire hand baskets, rolling baskets and basket stands, from £1 per basket at bulk quantities.
- Roll cages and roll containers: nestable roll cages and stackable wire storage cages for deliveries and stockrooms.
- Warehouse and platform trolleys: flat trolleys, two-tier picking carts and cash and carry stock trolleys up to 500 kg.
- Shelving and display racks: boltless wire shelving, dump bins and promotion tables.
- Warehouse step ladders and ladder trolleys: 3 to 8 steps, with handrails and a load platform.
Who it is for
The ranges were chosen for the customers we already talk to: cash and carries, convenience chains, supermarkets, wholesalers and 3PL warehouses that buy in quantity and want one supplier for the trolley on the shop floor and the pallet truck in the yard. If you are fitting out a new store or replacing a fleet of tired trolleys, one quote can now cover trolleys, baskets, roll cages and the equipment behind the scenes.
How pricing works on these ranges
Retail equipment is priced per unit at trade quantities. A 60 L European trolley is listed from £21 and a roll cage from £24, but those are container-quantity prices: the minimum order quantity is printed on each product page and repeated on your quote. For smaller quantities, tell us what you need and we will quote the nearest practical batch.
All prices on the site are guide prices in pounds sterling, ex VAT, converted from the factory list at a buffered exchange rate. Your written quote fixes the price, freight, duty and lead time for 30 days.
Custom colours, logos and sizes
Because everything is made to order, most trolley and basket models can be produced in your store colours, with your logo on the handle or basket, and with the options your layout needs: child seats, coin locks, bottle holders, castor sizes and finishes. Send the model reference and a note of what you want changed and the quote will show it.
Inspection before shipping
The process is the same as for our pallet trucks and forklifts. Every consignment is inspected at the factory before it leaves; you receive photos and video of your actual order, then delivery to your store or depot anywhere in the UK. Our warranty and returns terms explain what is covered.

What is the minimum order for shopping trolleys?
It depends on the model. Most wire trolleys are priced at 50 to 100 units, plastic trolleys at 50, baskets at 10 to 200. The exact minimum is shown on each product page and confirmed on your written quote. Ask if you need fewer: we will quote the nearest practical batch.
How long does a trolley order take?
Trolleys and roll cages are made to order and shipped by sea, so allow production plus shipping. The lead time is stated on your written quote before you commit; it is confirmed in writing, not estimated on the website.
Can trolleys be made in our store colours with our logo?
Yes. Powder-coat colours, handle colours, logo plates and printed handles are all options on most models. Tell us the model reference and what you want changed.
Do you sell to the public?
No. London Pallet Trucks supplies business customers only: supermarkets, cash and carries, wholesalers, warehouses and retailers.
Which styles of shopping trolley do you supply?
European style (the common UK supermarket trolley), American style (larger basket, straight sides), Asian style (compact, lighter), plastic-basket trolleys, double-basket trolleys and basket trolleys for baskets rather than loose goods. The shop lets you filter by style.
Are roll cages nestable and do they have shelves?
The roll cage range includes 2, 3 and 4-sided nestable cages, models with folding shelves, and security cages with lockable doors. Wire storage cages are a separate stackable type for pallet racking and stockrooms.
