About this part

A step down converter that runs 12 V lights, beacons, alarms and radios from the traction battery of an electric forklift. 12 V output at up to 25 A (300 W), made in two versions: for 48 V trucks, or for 72 V to 80 V trucks (60 to 84 V in). For electric counterbalance trucks of 1.5 t to 5 t and reach, very narrow aisle, four way and articulated trucks: choose the version from your truck voltage; a 40 V or 60 V truck, or one whose specification gives no voltage, is confirmed on your quote. Finned aluminium case with protection against reverse connection, over current, short circuit, over and under voltage and overheating, supplied with its lead and mating connector. It is non isolated: its 12 V negative joins the battery negative, so the 12 V circuit must not be earthed to the truck frame; your quote can offer an isolated converter where your truck needs one.

Read the voltage on your truck's data plate and choose the version: 48 V, or 72 to 80 V. Add up the current of the 12 V lights and alarms you will run (25 A at most). Replacing a converter: check the old one gives 12 V and compare its size and plug.
