A flat pressure pad that tells the truck the operator is in the seat: it closes the circuit when the operator sits down, and an electric truck will not drive until it does. It fits under the seat cushion, has a two wire lead and is rated for more than 150,000 operations. For seated electric forklifts that use a two wire seat switch: counterbalance trucks of 1.5 t to 5 t, and seated reach, four way, articulated and seated very narrow aisle trucks.
